Prompt for Friday, June 19th, 2026:

Father’s Day is a time to celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who have helped shape our lives through hard work, guidance, and plenty of memorable moments.

Whether it’s teaching the next generation how to drive a tractor, fix a fence, care of livestock, or simply lending a helping hand when it’s needed most, dads play an important role on farms and in rural communities.

This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate the fathers and father figures who make a difference and have a little fun while we’re at it!

Who are you celebrating this Father’s Day? What lessons, traditions, or memories stand out to you the most? And what’s your favorite dad joke?

Consider sharing:

  • Photos of Dad on the farm
  • Favorite memories spent working alongside your dad (or grandpa!)
  • Life lessons or advice your father figures have passed down through the years
  • Multi-generational photos
  • Stories that show your dad’s sense of humor
  • Your favorite dad joke or even the one your dad tells over and over again

Visuals are great for this kind of post. Consider creating:

  • A photo of Dad in action around the farm
  • A carousel of family photos through the years
  • A throwback photo of you and your dad and/or grandpa working
  • An old photo that brings back special memories
  • A short video sharing your dad’s best joke
  • Pictures of multiple generations working together

If you end up using this week’s prompt, we’d love to see it! Drop a direct link to your post or video in the comments.
