Prompt for Friday, July 24th, 2026:
There’s nothing quite like enjoying fresh fruit and vegetables picked right from the garden, orchard, or local farm. Whether you’re gathering baskets of tomatoes, sweet corn, zucchini, berries, or peppers, summer harvests often inspire some of the season’s best meals.
Show off your summer harvest!
What’s ready to pick where you live? What are you making with your fresh produce, and where do you find your favorite recipes?
Consider sharing:
- Photos of your garden or fresh-picked harvest
- Your favorite summer recipe featuring homegrown ingredients
- Where you find recipe inspiration (family cookbooks, social media, website, friends, etc.)
- Tips for preserving or freezing your harvest
- A family favorite that’s made every summer
Some visuals to create for this post could be:
- A photo of your harvest alongside the finished dish
- Photos of family members picking, cooking, or enjoying the meal together
- A carousel featuring the harvest, prep, and finished recipe
- A snapshot of your recipe card, cookbook, or favorite online recipe with the finished meal
- A short video showing what’s fresh in your garden or at the farmers’ market
