Prompt for Friday, April 17, 2026:

Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22 and a chance to celebrate the efforts farmers have made to improve their relationship with the environment.

That brings us to this weekend’s social media prompt:

  • Highlight sustainability practices you employ on your farm. This could include reduced tillage/no-till, cover crops, planting pollinator-friendly plants along roadsides or in your garden, and much more!
    • Photos and/or video are key here to show your audience you’re not just talking a big game.
  • Create a video discussing what Earth Day means to you and sharing some of your efforts on and off the farm to improve your environmental footprint. How do things look different today than 5, 10, or 20 years ago?

If you end up using this week’s prompt, we’d love to see it! Drop a direct link to your post or video in the comments.
